Longleaf Swine is a whole hog barbecue and smoked meats food trailer serving the greater triangle area. Coming soon to Transfer Co Food Hall. We bring smoking back to the basics and focus on the traditional technique of whole hog, all wood methods. We strive to ensure our recipes are deep rooted in our upbringing while incorporating a modern flair that makes us stand out.
Adam, owner and operator, grew up in Eastern North Carolina. Watching his grandmother put her whole heart into the food she prepared gave Adam a passion for doing things the old school way when it came to cooking. There was never a time that Adam didn’t lend a hand in her kitchen, learning as he went. His true love for whole hog barbeque came later. The patience and satisfaction that comes from slow smoking meat with an all wood fire is what really drew Adam in and he’s never looked back.
Adam shares that passion with his Pit Master, Marc. They met through the local restaurant industry and immediately connected over their desire to make people happy through filling their stomachs. Marc’s Puerto Rican background brings a unique influence to the Texas meets Carolina style seasonings Longleaf Swine uses.
